Hello

First I would like to apologise if this is in the wrong part of the forum.

I have had my computer (well the CPU, MB and RAM) for about 4 years and it has given me no problems what so ever. They are the remains of an Acer Aspire M5100 that I bought.

AMD Phenom 9500 (quad core 2.2 Ghz)
I know the MB is a Foxcon but not sure of the model number
4gb of ddr2 pc6400 ram

Now when it comes to buying the new bundle I have set my self an approx budget of £300. The less I spend the better. What I would like is some suggestions. I know that going for an I5 is going to come up but I wont rule out an AMD CPU as my current one has not given me any problems and I know they are cheaper.

I just want something that is going to last me for another 4 years. Once I have this sorted I will be upgrading the graphics card or cards if the MB is crossfire/sli.

Any help making my decision would be great.

My current system is as follows:

Coolermaster Elite 430 mid tower case
Amd Phenom 9500
4gb RAM
Foxcon motherboard
650W Corsair Enthusiast Series 650TXV2UK
Asus gtx 550ti

something like that would be great but if there any money saving alternatives where I save on the CPU by going AMD but have some cash left over for a graphics card upgrade that would be nice.
