7850 - 7870 bios flash?

hello is it possible to flash the 7870 bios to a 7850?

No it's not. I wouldn't think AMD would make same mistake twice.

I've never heard of it happening, but it's still kind of early. I doubt it's possible as schnitter said, I don't think they'd make that mistake twice but only time will tell.

Id say you could.I flashed my 7950 with a 7970 bios and it worked.I didnt unlock any shaders or anything but did get a few percent increase in performance.It also lets me overclock higher.Give it a shot with atiflash in windows you wont brick your card that way.Even if you did brick it its not hard to flash it back as long as you have a second card and 2 pci express slots.
