Key combination

Hello,
I have a Sony Vaio laptop. My wireless switch os on and my computer is not allowing me to connect to the internet, infact it wont even show the wireless networks in the box. It tells me to use the function keys to turn the wireless on. I no longer have my owners manual and I dont know what the keys are can u please help? I have already tried the fn+f5 as well as the fn+f6 keys neither one of them worked.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

The key which turns wireless on and off should have an icon similar to ((0)) and if it isn't there, you might be looking for a tiny physical switch on the front or sid eof the laptop.

It may also be worth checking in Control Panel>System>{Hardware}>Device Manager that the wireless chip is enabled and working properly.
