hi everyone, this forum was suggested to me by a friend, he said it was a great place to get advise so hears my plans ( well kinda )

Approximate Purchase Date:once I get the money saved up ( I currently have about 1/2 of it ) ( late july, hopefully before september)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Games >recording/editing video ( I like to do game lets plays )> surfing >schoolwork > everything else

Parts Not Required: Screen, keyboard, mouse, some cords ( I have some misc. Ethernet and those wide blue ones ling around )

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg ( the less sites the better )

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: Sorry Im new to this, but I've had good experiences with nivida, intel, and Texas Instrument

Overclocking: Yes, as much as I can xD

SLI or Crossfire: what?

Monitor Resolution: umm.. its a 20 inch flatscreen TV its 720P if that helps

Additional Comments: well needs to run almost anything I throw at it ( run most games at at least 20 FPS )

so far my parts are:

ASUS F1A75-V pro motherboard
AMD ( my friend swears my them ) FX processor ( cant remember which one )
samsung 4GB ram card x2
western digital 500 GB HDD
antec 500W power supply
NZXT source case
Sapphire RAdeon HD 7850 2GB
windows 7 home premium 64bit ( my freind has a "legit" ( see my air quotes, I think he pirated it :P ) copy of Win7 he said He may let me use xD )

yes, I know, I didn't include any of my favorite brands in there, and thats because A friend of mine swears up and down by all those companies.

thanks for any advise/help, and this is 100% subject to change xD

  2. It is going to be difficult to keep the total build cost at or below $800 with a $320 videocard. The AMD Chip may have been suggested for cost control measures.
