hay guys i need help
my computer is crashing under load. usually when i play BF3 or when i am running simulations in 3ds max this just started about 2 weeks ago.
i also have had a problem with my MoBo ( left speaker doesn't work on board but when i use case AUX it does) so it could be that. i have tested each card individually and it still happens
i have several time seen a glimps of a message pop up that says something about amd drivers but it crashes before i can read it.
i have uninstalled all my card drivers and re installed them but it still happens.
i have been thinking about reformatting but that is my last resort.

Usually that mean that your driver is not playing well with your system. Do this use a driver sweeper that I will link you to in fact you will have the choice of 3 of them. Plus I will link you to MSI Afterburner.

It is a tool to monitor your FPS, Temps, GPU usage, and set your fan speed plus you can OC your card with it if you want. I had the same problem as you have. I was able to fix my problem.

The way I did it was rolling back my driver to a older version. Before you roll back try this first. Run driver sweeper then down load the new driver. In the install you will be given a choice to do this.

One will say quick or noraml intall recommended and Custom. Choose Custom hit next, second choice you click on clean install. After all...

Are you monitoring your temps? If so what program are you using? It could be your MOBO but probley not. I think that message you get is something about graphic driver has failed and has recoverd.

Something like that. If it isn't a heat problem maybe your PSU is bugging out. Does it do it when you watch videos and or surf the web? Anyway get back to us with the answers.

my temps aren't going any higher than they usually do. but i will keep an eye on them a little more. i think im using core temps for my cpu ad and amd program for my gpu (i forget the name) but im not often looking at them when it crashes but i do have the option to record them so ill do that tomorrow and post it.
and that is the message iv seen, is there a way to fix that or is it normal for amd to fail and recover.
i am swapping my cards with a friend on sunday he is going to test my2 cards and i am going to test my system with his one, and then i can rule that out for sure( will let you know) if it isn't that i will see if he wants to swap PSUs to test that.
i have run stability ests with catalyst and it says im stable.
it only does it with BF3 and when im under load in 3ds max usually about 5-10 minutes in.

Find an older driver maybe one you knew that worked before. Do the driver sweeper and do the same steps as above. Then try your game and let us know your temps and the out come of the drivers.

You can try your cards on your friends but I don't think it is the cards and do the PSU swap.
