Help on new gaming build $800-850

I will be able to order parts this upcoming wednesday my budget is $800-$850 before rebates,I have no preferences for parts,i do not plan on overclocking i do not know how and i hear it wears out the parts quicker.
you do not have to include keyboard or mouse, but it would be appreciated if you gave me some good monitor brands and stuff currently all i have for a monitor is a really old junky one that i am planning to use until i have money for a better one

This is what i have so far my friend picked most of the parts, i have never built a desktop before so any advice and/or if you know of any parts that would do a better job than theses within my budget. i am open to prebuild computers

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ965FBGMBOX($120)

Cooler Master Hyper 212+($30)

Mushkin 8GB DDR3($45)

AMD Radeon HD6850($140)

ASRock 970 EXTREME3($85)

Samsung DVD Burner($15)

Antec 650W ($80)or DiabloTek PSUL575 UL Series ATX Power Supply - 575W, 140mm Fan, Single +12V Rail
the diablo tek because its $40 cheaper than the antec

Cooler Master CM690($80)

Samsung 1 TB Spinpoint 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.5 inch
i can go down to 500GB to save money for better parts($100)
