I have an ASUS Radeon HD 6570 that comes with a Displayport and an HDMI port.

The Displayport is already connected to one monitor.

Now how do I connect the HDMI port to a second monitor?

I couldn't find any cable that can do HDMI to Displayport. It seems they all do the other way around. Would that even be possible?

Alternatively I could buy an HDMI to DVI. But I thought using the DisplayPort might be the better digital choice than DVI.

are you sure that is your card, it doesnt have display port on it...

dvi will work just fine.

and the 'quick edit' should work, the normal edit button hasn't worked for years for anyone... (and I've been here since 1970 :p  )

My bad. Yes that is my card. I have connected the DVI on card to Displayport on the monitor.

Thinking about it now, it makes sense buying a HDMI - DVI :)
