Asus M5A99X EVO AMD PHENOMx4 965 Black CPU Problem

Hey,

So this is my first time building a computer. When ever I turn on my PC the CPU LED flashes red and the PC won't boot and I don't get the beep. I was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem

CPU: Phenom x4 965 BE
MOBO: Asus M5A99x EVO
RAM: PNY 2x4GB
PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty 750w
GPU: MSI Nvidia 560 ti Twin Frozr


Note: I'm using the stock heatsink

check everything .. reseat cpu and check pin also use stock cooler first

I've tried doing that but the LED still flashes

What do you mean by that? The motherboard is in the case. By the way I'm using a HAF X

remove it all, and put it outside the case

Hey all thanks for the support I finally go my computer up and running, now I just have to find a DVI cable. I just took all the parts out and redid the build and this time it miraculously worked.
