How to install a Evo

I've been ******* around with the evo with a 3570k and can't find a way to put it on. I'm doing it outside of the case. What am I doing wrong?

Mind the accent he has but this video should show you what steps you should be doing. It's pretty simple if you watch a few videos and try to follow the directions the videos give u.

Apperently I'm extremely challenged because I can't figure out how to put the backplate on. I've looked for a video for step by step.
