Strictly speaking they're all compatible but..

1. The motherboard is a little on the cheap side

2. Forget the liquid cooler, and air cooler is going to be much safer and perform just as well as the h40. Consider a Coolermaster 212 Evo.

Alright, how about the Gigabyte GA-970A-D3?

I personally am not a fan of Gigabyte at all. Honestly either one of them would probably do the job just fine. I'm just opinionated to some degree is all.

I personally would spend a little bit more on an Asus Evo

Currently $115 with mail in rebate, which isn't too shabby.
