The computers specs are as follows:
AMD Phenom II x4 840 3.2GHZ
12GB DDR3 Ram
eVGA GTX 550 ti GPU
Single SATA HDD (7,200 RPM)
Currently no Optical drive but there are plans to add one.
20W fan controller (Off, 60% speed, 100% speed)- Let's assume it's maxed out at the 20W's
No plans on upgrading, this will be given to a friend in dire need of a computer, and upgrading a computer is the last thing on his mind.
I just want to get a cheap, but good psu for it that will last him and will have enough power to power this system at full load (for safety and long term use).
Links, suggestions (wattage wise and such) any help is appreciated. I know a 750W will power it as that is what I had before I upgraded my new machine and ended up using the same psu. But since I took the psu out of the old (above mentioned) I don't know what to get him that would be cheap, good and effective and not over the top.) Thanks for all the help.
