I am planing on doing yet another upgrade to my system witch is only a 3 month old build. My current specs are as follows:
Gigabyte Ga-z68AP-d3 MoBo
Intel Core I5-2500k @ 4.4Ghz stable 24/7 no turbo on air with a Carbon x7 heatsink with push/pull 22c at idel 45c max bf3
2 x 4Gb Division 2 DDR3 with XMP 1 enabled 1600Mhz 8-9-8-24 1t
Galaxy GTX 570 1280mb stock clock
Diablotex 675w PSU
1 x WD Caviar Blue 500Gb 7200 rpm system drive
1 x WD Caviar Green 750Gb 5400 rpm Storage + pagefile drive
6 x 120mm Blue LED System Fans

I am at odds as far as witch way to go on this upgrade witch I know ATM is nearly pointless but non the less I must have it lol

So my first plan is to wait and order a GTX 680 and get a K series Ivy bridge I5 but im not a patient one so this is the farthest from the plan ATM

Plan 2 is the get the following parts:
galaxy gtx 570 GC edition - $289
Gigabyte GA-z68x-ud3h-b3 - $159
Ultra X4 750-Watt Modular Power Supply V2 - $120
Only problem I see with this is with 570 in sli the pcie is only x8 x8

Total on those is $600 because I have a B2B account with compusa since I am a computer tech

Option 3 is somthing I am leaning twords but would cost roughly $1000
I7-3820 - $309
MSI X79A-GD45 - $219
galaxy gtx 570 GC edition - $289
Ultra X4 750-Watt Modular Power Supply V2 - $120
Pcie with this ix x16 x16 meaning hopefuly both cards at max power

Again with my B2B account I can get it cheaper.
ATI cards are other of the question even though I hear good things of the 7970 I am not an ATI/AMD guy, never have been never will be. I need advice as far as the best option to go with and why. I am making my order by the middle of next week, taking my time since I am too busy now with work to build it or even play any games. Right now I am playing only skyrim with about 150 mods including every good graphics mod on the nexus. So please put in your imput and help me make up my mind. Money is no object either.

Solution
Since money is no object then why not get the 3930k for the cpu , the Asus Rampage iv motherboard , 16 gb of ram , a SeaSonic 860w psu and the Samsung 830 240gb SSD for the OS.

Now this would be an upgrade to write home about.

Solution
Your post is a little confusing. Are you trying to SLI?

At any rate, get a Z77 board that supports SLI. They are PCI3 and will work with your PCI2 cards (x8/x8 on PCI3=x16/x16 on PCI2).

Agree with inzone that you need a better PSU (brand wise) and an SSD to supplement those anemic HDDs.

No reason whatsoever to go to an Ivy Bridge from what you have. You're unlikely to get that same overclock on IB without a very powerful cooling setup. Much, much better off waiting to see what Haswell has to offer next year. Or, waiting to get an X79 with IB-E when they release if it seems to be worth it (no clue when that will be).
