I just read the review for the new Halo 2 multiplayer pack disc that's
being released in June. What peaked my interest, in addition to the 9
new levels, is a couple of tweaks to Grenades and Melee to make them
more powerful. The article didn't really go into details about whether
this grenade/melee "upgrade" is gamewide or just for the new
multiplayer map pack? Since they're releasing these nine new levels
and the grenades/melee improvement any chance they might go ahead and
put out a supplemental disc to get rid of the single campaign
cliffhanger and finish the story?

The grenade/melee improvement is for multi-player only. It will let you
update these for system link games. Xbox Live (XBL) already has the
grenade/melee upgrades in place. If anyone runs *right* up to you guns
blazing, you can beat them down. But you really need to be quick about it
and they can't have started shooting from a distance and then close the gap
since in that case you may have already taken too much damage, of course
things might even out if you were firing at the same time.

No chance whatsoever. Expect that to be the big selling point for Halo 3 on
the Xbox 360. They will look to get it out prior to Sony's PS3 release.
