Approximate Purchase Date: Within this month most likely this week/next.

Budget Range: $2000 Aus Budget.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Hardcore gaming (B3, SC2, SOASE, Civ4/5, D3, Skyrim etc)/Internet Surfing (5-15 tabs), Movies/TV, study, youtube.

Parts Not Required: Case (BitFenix Raider), Keyboard (Logi G510), Mouse (Razor Naga), Headset.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: PLE.com.au, Austin.net.au

Country: Australia Perth (there is price differences between West and East)......yea i know Australia sucks with prices.

Parts Preferences: 24-27inch monitors, Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU.

Overclocking: Yes, up to around 4.5ghz, fan/air cooling only.

SLI or Crossfire: Yes in the future when i get enough cash for my 2nd GPU.

Monitor Resolution: Unknown havn't decided monitors yet most likely will be around 1920x1080.

Additional Comments: This is my first build i want it to be a high mid-end computer for gaming, i want it to last between 1-2 years on the top resolution for new games between then. This isnt only a gaming only machine, its also an entertainment machine focused at gaming. Here are afew extra issues which i would like looked at.

1. Is it worth getting a sound card for my build of this budget? Sound cards are the one piece of hardware which i have researched the least about, and i still havnt decided if it is worth getting one at this stage.

2. Is there any issues with compatablity, size, or overkill/bottlenecking, which should be addressed in this build?

3. In the future i will be getting 2 monitors set up, but for the moment 1 monitor is all that is needed, and has to be included in the budget, suggestions on which 1 from the sites prefered would be apprecated.
