Alright so I can't seem to find any benchmark info and I am deciding which cpu I am going to buy the FX 4300 is roughly 20 bucks more and idk what the performance difference is. If they are about equal than I think the FX 4170 would be best because I would put those extra 20$ into moving from a HD 7770 to a 7850. Thanks for info.

I'm currently running the FX 4170 which came with the HD 7850 in my pre build and the HD 7850 overclocks very nicely,so if money is tight i personally would put the money towards the 7850.

On the website my mobo(ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS) states it has 3x Chassis Fan connectors, Does this mean You can connect 3 case fans to it? My case has 5 fans so where would I connect the other 2? MY PSU is the COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS-550-PCAR-E3 550W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply

What will you be using the computer for ? Also it's not so much about wattage but more the quality of the PSU which brings me to my next question: What brand PSU do you have ?

It is a Cooler Master Extreme 550w with 70% efficiency.
