3587i custom ringtone problem

Hey,
I have a 3587i with a USB cable. I have been able to put custom wallpapers
on my phone just fine, but am having trouble with the ringtones. I have a
MIDI editor and edited a song down to about 15 seconds, about 1.3 KB. I
used Nokia PC Suite 6.1 to convert file. The file converted just fine and
the computer recognizes the phone, but every time I try to transfer the song
to the phone, I get a message saying it failed. What to do?? Thanks!!
