Three-pin PLED header orientation

The power LED on the front of my case is not lighting up. I plugged it into the three-pin PLED on the mobo. Could it have gone in the wrong way?

What case/mobo is it? Most I have seen are 2 pin. and I guess it is possible to put it in the wrong way, though if its keyed like a fan header it would be pretty darn hard.

Apparently the orientation matters. I opened the case and turned it around and now it lights up.
