hi =)

some days ago my pc was unable to run games for more than some seconds: it crashed after i launched sc2 and after rebooting i tried gta: crash after 10 sec in the game.
after that i disabled my OC and rebooted: since then i cant be in games, even in the menu; and i have this http://www.google.at/imgres?q=bildschirm+kaputt+striche&start=82&um=1&hl=de&safe=off&client=firefox-a&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:eek:fficial&biw=1280&bih=644&tbm=isch&tbnid=ob-B6u07AhLOfM:&imgrefurl=http://www.modernboard.de/hardware-probleme/92422-rote-streifen-bildschirm.html&docid=FNGr6qhIO4st-M&imgurl=http://i39.tinypic.com/ab4b36.jpg&w=1024&h=768&ei=FqSeT9a2N5CVOuz2_PsB&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=495&sig=105088353227902997695&page=5&tbnh=146&tbnw=195&ndsp=21&ved=1t:429,r:13,s:82,i:33&tx=48&ty=80
the lines dont move or anything. they are violet on light background and green on dark background.

to test where the problem is i took out my gpu and put it into my dads pc. and yes, the gpu is the problem.

now my questions:
should i go to my computer-shop and ask them to repair the card? im sure i dont have warranty after 4,5 years.
im expecting that the card cant be repaired:
should i buy something like a 6750? or are my e6750, 4 gb ram, and ab9pro (=mobo) good enough to make use of a 6850 or GTX 460?

last question:
in case something like GTX 460 would be ok would it make sense to wait for this new nVidia-cards? i read there is one that costs like 125€/$? or maybe i should wait for these new cards not to buy then BUT TO BUY THE OLDER CARDS FOR LESS MONEY? does it work that way =)?
the highest amount of time i am willing to wait is two weeks (15.5. diablo 3)

i hope you can and will help me,
thx much
wait 2 weeks
