What to Buy?

Hello, I asked something similar a few months ago but I'm still not sure.
It's my birthday next weak on the 3rd and will have around £200, though I don't want to spend this all on hardware. So £100-150 on something.

I need a new hard drive since I only have a 2.5" 320gb drive and a 80gb drive.

I was thinking of getting a 1TB from WD black caviar after being worried if other brands will fail but I am still considering seagate barracuda as its so cheap.

But the OCZ Vertex 4 has came out and it's on sale at a good price and so many people praise ssd's, I really want one to check it out and stuff, it would be so nice with such high speeds and not worrying about bottlenecks. But I hate sacrificing things for more space. Though I think I will actually be ok if I get a 120gb ssd with 320gb and then 80gb would equal 520gb which is quite nice.

I will be playing games, storing dvd's and tv shows though it isnt that important, and please no one say it's up to you, I want good opinions.
Thanks for reading.

You decide.

Western Digital, only reason I care for SSD's are for my boot drives, drives, anti-virus.

Mechanical drives are what you want for the things you're looking to store.

Thanks, I did want an SSD for fast loading times and apparantly it makes things like alt+tab'ing much faster but what ever I'll get the WD Black 1tb. Thanks

I think the SSDs are largely a luxury item and I think you would do well to get a 1TB drive either the Seagate or WD (WD is hurting more from the Thailand flooding, which is why you may find their prices are a little higher than Seagate for similar products)

Bottom line, get yourself some more storage space before you worry about making your game load 10 seconds faster..
