So i have Phenom 555 at 3.2 ghz,Gigabyte 6670 ddr3, 2 gb of ddr3 1333 mjz ram,and maxtor 80gb hard drive.I installed far cry 2 im playing at 1024 resolution medium-high setting im getting like 40-50 fps, that's too low.Are there any bottlenecls here,i should be able to get more fps i think ??? And yeah,it's running extremely cool 48c at full load,it should be hitting 68 ???

Could you run 3d mark 11 benchmark? I haven't played far cry 2 so I don't know if it's a demanding game. Did you install the latest drivers?

AMD video card naming scheme:

HD wxyz

w = generation, this indicates how old that generation is, not it's speed.
x = the tier of the card, 5 are ultra-budget, 6 are budget, 7 are low-end gaming, 8 are high end gaming, 9 are enthusiast
y = the differentiator within the tier, 5 7 and 9 are typical numbers, where 9 is dual GPU usually, 7 is higher end and 5 is the lower within the tier.
z = usually zero, unless they have to shove a card between two existing ones for marketing/price-point purposes.

6 = only barely last gen, still pretty current tech
6 = budget card, don't expect to get much performance
7 = the faster card within the budget tier

Gotta watch those marketing guys, because your 6670 is likely on par with a 5750 on a good day, despite the significant numerical difference.

How is that too low? The human eye can't tell the difference above about 32fps.
