Planning to get a F2A85-V PRO Motherboard, it will come with an APU A6 5400K already have an AMD 5770 1GB GPU.

Q1: What APU should I get to upgrade, at least best for rendering? Or should I look for AM3 CPU's ?
Q2: Is possible to combine the GPU of the APU and the 5770 GPU for best performance?

I will use the APU for 3D Rendering, Video Rendering and Gaming.

1] The A6 are single module/Dual core varients so you may suffer in x86 performance in that regard, rather look at a A8 or A10 quad core varients for better results.

2] Rendering wise, if the application is openCL ready then the APU's are very quick, but in general for heavy 3D rendering you need a CPU with more muscle for better results, but the APU can still do that rather well. It is more optimized for OpenCL though.

3] Gaming wise yes you can use your 5770 with it just fine. Your mobo of choice uses lucid MVP firmware so you can switch between your discrete and integrated depending on your work load.
