Hello,

I currently have:

Windows 7 Home Premium, 64Bit
2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-2600 processor (3.4GHz with 8MB Cache)
8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz - 4 DIMMs

My current video card is a AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3 which came with the Dell XPS 8300 system (yuck), and I am looking for an upgrade in that department for playing games, any suggestions (something in the $200-$300 range?)

Go for the GTX 560 ti. If you have another 100 bucks you can get a GTX 580 :)

I agree the 560 ti is your best bet today. If you want to wait a couple weeks the new gtx 6xx cards are out and more coming. The gtx 660 Ti will likely be about $250.

Edit: The 7850's do look appealing. I did not realize they are under $250. Can I change my mind to 7850? Personally I would wait 2-3 weeks if you can. Nvidia should have a new card in your price range and heck you may be able to get a 7870 then if AMD lowers prices to compete.
