Hi,
I've read that not all mmc card makes will work with my 6600...can anyone
recommend a particular manufacturer/supplier in the uk that work with no
problems...i'm also looking for a card reader writer.

MMC128 EMTC + HAMA reader work fine...

Ive got a 128mb card from cpw, works fine in 6230, see no reason why
wont work same in 6600. cost me £29.99, they also had a 256mb card for
49.99.

KINGMAX 256 MB, works perfect more than 6 mounts

Kingston/Apacer (any Hitachi-based "rebranded" MMC works perfect.) Nokia's
official MMCs are also hitachi OEM (check the serial #: it should be like:

HB #######...blabla
JPN #####...blabla

HB = Hitachi MMC.

AFAIK, there is no reason why a MMC of any particular brand will not work in
a phone. Beware Sandisk MMCs, they are dead slow....Hitachi is fast and
reliable.

i've got a 128MB Integral mmc card in my 6600. works fine and is nice
and fast.
