Installed this so I could have a mess around with midi's etc. and noticed it
sits in my system tray with no obvious way of exiting the progam completely.
So I've uninstalled it for now. Don't fancy the idea of Nokia hijacking my
P.C by having programs that can't be switched off. Must be a way surely?
thanks

Which bit is in your system tray, if it's connection manager then just elect
not to install it. PC Suite doesn't reside in your system tray & will work
without connection manager...

That is one big issue with PC Suite- also it grabs the connection
method away from anything else that may want to use it. I had trouble
even after uninstalling it, as somehow it had hogged the port. I had
to go through my system and remove bits individually. Nightmare. You
might want to consider alternatives such as MobiMB from
logomanager.co.uk.

Other than using another program is there anyway to do what this bloke wants
to do?

Yes. Disable it in the startup bits.
Run "msconfig"
Choose the "Startup" tab
Untick DATALA~1 and TRAYAP~1 [well that's how they appear on my XP]
Restart
Now you simply run the Suite from the Startup menu each time you want it.
