Theres always something isnt there.. just about to finish a new build and......

I had to go with extension cables instead of just sleeving mine, 1) it was easier and 2) I needed extra length anyways for CPU and 24pin cables.

So I picked up extension cables for my PCIe cables too for a good match and now have a W T F moment..

Using BitFenix extensions.. the 6pin cables dont plug in to my GTX 680.. there is one of the 6 "male ends" that is square instead of round in comparison to the 680 on each cable..

Now out of my PSU it is a 6+2, the GPU has 2x 6p receptors, 2 extension cables on the 2 6pin cables, and yep.. not a match..

I really dont know where I messed up but I have half a mind to just shave the corners off the square bit but people will probably gasp at this idea..

Help?

Probably just being a dummy but the rig is DONE minus this debacle.. frustrating..

Several years back EVGA was sending out molex to 6 pin adapters that had the same problem, you wouldn't be the first person to shave the keys
