Hello,
Just wondering why my GTX 460 Cyclone 1GB has an idle temp of 45-52 degrees Celcius... I set the 2D profile in Afterburner to "not assigned" and then the 3D profile to my overclocked settings... when gaming it doesn't even reach 60 degrees so I have no idea why the idle temp is so high... I'm also running dual 20 inch monitors if that makes a difference.

That indeed makes a difference. You can expect 10-15C increase in temperatures when running multiple monitors on a single card. In order to avoid flickering, the cards will not down clock as low when idling.

i have a gtx 460 aswell. When running a single monitor, @ idle the temps are arround 30 celsius, because it clocks down to 50 MHz. When running 2 monitors the card does not clock down to 50 MHz only to 450MHz. Thats why your temps are higher.
