Aup,

idle temps 32C

I brought a computer from PCworld the other day(paying for it monthly), and I installed my Hd6850 from my old machine, while playing Mass Effect I clocked my cpu reaching at 65c(with stock cooler). At the moment I haven't got much money to spend on a cooler, so will I be ok with these temps for a few months or so?

I've heard heat can reduce the lifespan of hardware. The case doesn't exactly have the best cooling and money is always a problem for me.

Thanks all, thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen this CPU go over 70c before. I've been reading random threads all over Google about the stock cooler being fine as long as you don't over clock, which I ain't doing. It's worrying.

Well, stock coolers are meant to keep it cool under normal conditions, depending on your processor 76 max ain't bad, especially if it is Ivy. You can get a nice cooler for around 30 bucks, so just keep an eye on it until you can upgrade.
