CPU bottlenecking GPU

I have a gtx 670 and an intel core i7 920 at 2.66. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how badly my cpu will bottleneck my gpu.
Thanks.

More about bottlenecking
  1. There shouldn't be any, but it wouldn't hurt to go to 3ghz anyways.

You can test by running a benchmark, then overclock the cpu a bit and if the benchmark graphics score is higher then you know you were bottlenecked.

    I highly doubt it though.
  2. Ok thank you.
  3. Wait, how much ram do you have? Ram specs? Brand? If your running low amounts of Frankensteined (mixed brand and or speed) memory, that could be the culprit. Try that? If possible, try doing a little overclock on memory to squeeze every last ounce of juice out of your system.
