Nokia PCIMIA GPRS phone card

I've just bought a Nokia phone card (the one with the little aerial) off
e-bay so I can use my laptop to sort my mail on the trot. The seller
mentioned that they used it with an Orange sim, leading me to believe it may
be locked to Orange. I'm aware of how to unlock 'phones but where do you
begin with something like this? Someone else is selling another one and
mailed me to say Orange unlocked it for him. I'll be using a current
contract Vodafone sim.
