Monitor Issue

Last response: in Graphics & Displays
Share

Hi guys I just got my Crossover 27Q and discovered an issue. Every time I open or close a folder or browser weird jagged lines appear across the screen. I did a bit of searching and based on what I found I don't think it's ghosting, but I could be wrong. Could it be my graphics card? I just built a new system with a Sapphire HD7850 O.C. GPU. I'm stumped on this one so I'd really appreciate any help.

Here's a link to the video of the problem:

Looks like driver issue. I'd suggest reinstall windows, even though you've just done it. You've got nothing to lose, right?

I couldn't get my hands on another cable yet. You think that could be the problem?

could be. Try taking out your card and try hooking up your monitor to your motherboard (instead of the graphics card). Check if the problem goes away without the card.

I don't really even understand if you want to solve your issue or not. I was trying to help you, but since you don't want help - forget it.

Sorry man, I replied earlier but I seem to be having problems on the forum cause it keeps saying tomshardware is unavailable try back later and it doesn't post my reply or double posts. Anyways, I wrote earlier that I couldn't try your solution cause my monitor only allows a DVI connection.
