What about your monitor resolution?
Looking at your PSU, i will suggest you to take HD 7850, it only require 1x 6pin power connector from PSU...

Could you get a link to your PSU? It should be able to power it unless it's a cheap PSU. Also HD 7850's only come in a 2GB version, to my knowledge.

Can't really figure out how many PCIe 6pins your PSU has, but the 7850 is an excellent card which only requires 1 6pin, so I'd go with that. Also very nice for your resolution.

Just make sure, if you buy the 7850, that you get one with a custom cooler like Sapphire or MSI.

The 7850 is better in just about every way. It generally more than 5% faster than the 6950 as well as consume less power. It OCs much better as well. There really not much reason to buy the 6950 unless its a decent bit cheaper.
