  1. Well, it also depends on the rest of your system...
what kind of performance do you expect?
  2. i have:
    amd Phenom II 965
    zumax 550w
    4gb 1066Mhz
    1tb 5400 rpm
and an ati radeon HD 5770 (upgrading)
  3. What about your monitor resolution?
Looking at your PSU, i will suggest you to take HD 7850, it only require 1x 6pin power connector from PSU...

  5. asus 24 inch 1920x1080 will my psu support this card?
  6. Could you get a link to your PSU? It should be able to power it unless it's a cheap PSU. Also HD 7850's only come in a 2GB version, to my knowledge.
  7. Can't really figure out how many PCIe 6pins your PSU has, but the 7850 is an excellent card which only requires 1 6pin, so I'd go with that. Also very nice for your resolution.

Just make sure, if you buy the 7850, that you get one with a custom cooler like Sapphire or MSI.
  8. kk btw my question is which card is more powerful i can get a psu if needed
  9. they don't make 1gb 7850s.
  10. yeah sry typo
  11. well...7850 is the better card if that's what you're asking. and requires less power.

The 7850 is better in just about every way. It generally more than 5% faster than the 6950 as well as consume less power. It OCs much better as well. There really not much reason to buy the 6950 unless its a decent bit cheaper.
