nvcpl.dll error after installing my graphic card driver

i keep getting nvcpl.dll error the specific module could not be found during start-up and i cannot load nvidia control panel but other things are perfectly fine. i have upgraded to latest driver but the error continues.
please suggest me how to remove the error?
graphic card galaxy gts 250 1gb ddr3
re-installing did not helped i tried driver version 196. .. that came with the card and also latest version 285.62 and 296.10 with clean installation option but that did not help either.
