Need some help with building a gaming rig.

Buying a new computer, need help to see if these parts work good togheter =)
So, i just ordered my new computer in parts. Ive buildt a couple of computers before, but its a pretty long time ago, so i want to make sure these parts will work well together.
Altso im trying to get something that will run all games smoothhly for arround 3 years, as im starting my studys, and wont afford anything new before im done with that.
Some guy in another forum told me that the 2011 socket is a waste, but isent it suposed to be the "future"? Seeing as it will support the next gen intel cpu's and really aint that much more expensive than the older sockets?

I will prolly change the memory to 3x 4gb sticks insted, seeing as it's basicly the same price.
