Thanks, how come you picked Intel duel core i3, when for less money i could buy, AMD FX 4100 (quad core 3.6ghz) and its a black edition - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMD-FX-4100-3-6GHz-Quad-Core-Processor-12MB-95W-Socket-AM3-Black-Edition-32nm-/221052545775?pt=UK_Computing_CPUs_Processors&hash=item3377c22aef#ht_2275wt_1270

To me, this one is much better for the price, am i missing something? why do you pick intel over amd when intel seems to be overpriced? :)

the reason im guessing he picked intel is because no fanboy. they are just overall beter. They have a great upgrading path and you will not regret one bit of it in the future. Btw i just built my first build and went with intel even though i spent abuot as much as u without videocard.

Yeah I seem to get the impression the Intel is better but from what I am looking at with the AMD and the Intel the AMD seems better in nearly every way on the specs of both.

Like I said I'm not sure if I'm missing something here!

If I built from the Duel core I3 would it be just as good as that AMD? I'm pretty much trying to buying a gaming PC that will run pretty much any game thrown at it at the moment.

Thanks for all the help as this is my first build, learning quite a lot!

you may think this is fanboy but straight up almost everyone you ask will say intel is better. Intel is faster and definetly the better way to go if you want to upgrade in the future and actually have an upgrade path. AMD is for the people who don't have the money to actually get a good system but you do i assure you. The way to go is intel trust me and ironslice. Ironslice actually just helped me build my computer with INTEL i5 3570k :D thanks ironslice btw i love you :p

Thanks. I think I will have to go for the Intel then by what has been said. Will the one Ironslice last me or should I go for the I5 like stew said?
