Upgrade my recalled p67 deluxe

Hello, everyone. Well due to my ignorance and flat out laziness my gen 1 p67 asus pro mobo sata 3 ports are acting up and becoming annoyingly slow. I've emailed asus but I'm not really expecting to get a replacement. My question is I was able to get a stable overclock of 4.8 and even reached 5.1 but the temps at 5.1 were making me uncomfortable. Can someone recommend me an upgrade to this mobo. I'm not rich but I don't mind paying a little extra for quality and performance. I mostly play racing sims (iracing,rfactor) at 5740x1080. I have a 7970 and am planning to crossfire in the near future. Also is it worth it to go with a maintenance free water cooling solution such as an h80/100 or is there an air cooler that will keep me at reasonable temps ant my 4.8 overclock. Thanks for any input.

Well first of all the board is going to be under warranty. Z77 boards are the way to go on that socket so maybe an Asus board which come in multiple versions.
