I'm a first time builder, and I need some help on choosing a suitable PSU and clarification on whether my CPU will bottleneck my GPU,
I am planning to use:
NZXT Phantom Case
An Asus P9X79 Motherboard
A i7 3820 (3.6GHz, 3.8GHz Turbo 10MB Cache)
16GB Corsair Vengence 1600MHz Ram
Asus GTX 680 DCU2T (2GB, Base Clock: 1037MHz, Boost Clock: 1201Mhz, Memory Clock: 6008Mhz
2 128GB SSD's (Dual OS's, Mac on one, Windows on the other)
2 1TB HDD's
Asus Blu Ray Drive
3 200mm fans with LED's
5 120mm Fans with LED's (+ Corsair H100 Liquid cooling for CPU)
1 140mm Fan with LED's

Basically what I would like to know is if my CPU will bottleneck the GTX680 (and if it does would I be better off with a 3930K even though its ~300 pounds more)
and will an 850W PSU (Corsair HX850) Supply enough power for the system + some potential overclocking?

Thank you all in advance

What's this build being used for and what's your budget? Those two things will greatly determine what your final build is going to look like. X79 is pretty much overkill for anything but a CS5 or rendering build.

For starters that's way too much on your cooling solution - I'd drop the H100 altogether. You could probably also go with the 670 and save $100.

For cooling solution - I'd heavily recommend reading this before you overspend on fans. Plus you can only have as many fans as your case has mounts for. I followed this guide exactly and it works:
