9800gtx+ upgrade?

trying to decide if i need a new gpu or just a whole new rig

current rig

Q6600 oc @3.2ghz
8 gb of ram
p5n-d mobo
win 7 64 bit
and 2 9800gtx+ sli


i played guildwars 2 beta this weekend and diablo 3 2 weekends ago, and just cant seem to get a smooth stable fps for anything new, i know the cards are old, but i also see many with the same cards saying that they have no problem or at least have any issues with running at a comfortable rate in both games.

Those cards have more than enough power for d3. Try using only one and see if it's sli that's causing problems. My 5750 ran perfectly and it's close to a 9800+.

I agree with jryan388. you should try using only one 9800GTX+ and see if its better.
