Building a solid rig for my gf in Spain

Hi guys,

I recently got my girlfriend into gaming and I want to put together a rig for her. I want to get it for her as a surprise. She usually plays on my laptop threw through the Sony Bravia tv, however if I have work to do, I know how much it sucks to have to stop gaming because of someone else. She really likes RPG's/3D Platformers (SKyrim, Batman Arkham City, Reckoning). Hopefully the system I will build her can handle the 1080p res that the TV has.

The main problem here is that I live in Spain. Through looking at older threads I found some websites for shopping in Spain but the prices are really high. I have come up with a rough build and am investing in the components that affect gaming in the most way. The price at the moment is a little too high (originally I set out for 400-500 EUR, but now I have broken 600). I don't need keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor or OS. I have a copy of my Vista OS for my old crappy desktop (I know I know) but if she wants an upgrade she can pay for it.

Here is what I have (please feel free to ridicule the build and suggest godlier alternatives)

More about building solid spain
  1. It all works together fine.
  2. See if you can get 1600Mhz RAM, if the prices are similar to where I look it should only be a few dollars difference.

Other than that it looks good for a light gaming rig.

H61/H67 boards do not support 1600hz RAM.

Was not aware of that, thanks.
  5. Seems good except the PSU
  6. The cheapest shop I found in spain is lifeinformatica (found in barcelona), but only it's physical shop, their online shop is way too expensive.

The best option to buy online is go with pccomponentes
