Saphirre Radeon 6950 OC No post

Hello,

Just received my card today. Remove my old GTX 275, plugged in the Radeon 6950, two 6 pins connector, pluged in the monitor into the DVI connecter (tried both) and on power up, no beep, the monitor goes on sleep, no post. If I unplugged the monitor, I can see with the no signal on the monitor so I guess the signal goes to the monitor when it plugged on the DVI port.

No post, no beep, just black screen. I dont hear the drives spinning, cant go to BIOS, nothing. My monitor is directly to a straight DVI cable. Is this thing DOA or I am missing something?

My MOBO is ASUS P6T deluxe, dont know the revision or if it matters.
18 Gigs of RAM, 5 hard drives connected
i7-920, stock setting
PSU is corsair 750 w, never had pSu problems and I think the GTX275 draws more power than a 6950

Any body have an idea?

My fault, one of the memory stick has moved and was preventing the system to boot. Card is ok.
Dont know how to closer or delete this tread.

All you have to do is pick the best answer and that will close it out. So that is a relief that you were able to find the loose memory stick. I think my heart would be pounding thinking my card was dead.

My mind would be thinking how long is this going to take and eveything else with it. What a relief that was. Good luck to you.
