Hey peeps :hello:  just another boring question bout which is beta for gaming. Im in 2 minds about this today i have to decide if im buying a ivy bridge 3770 i7 or a 3330 i5 which is really the better option and would it be beneficial to get the i7 so i don't need to upgrade to soon in the future?

The answer is always no, at least for 3-4 years, u and i do not know the future, but i think still long days for game using HyperThreading tech.

HT been since 2002 and till 2012 not benefit gaming, i dont about 5 years from now
Get i5 3570k, and oc it to 4.6, n u will be happy for years to come

Games is more about GPU power, cpu is just 1 part and a quad core is powerful enough to ham most game title

i7-3770 will provide very little if any advantage in gaming over an i5.
so it does not justify much more money you will need to spend to get very little gain.
so just get a i5
