Can I get what I'm looking for?

Is it possible for me to be able to enjoy games like Crysis 2/ 3 on max settings, and be able to do minor video editing and some simple beginners programming with a $1,500 - $2,000 budget? I have $600 saved up so far and will have $1,500 saved up in three months and possibly $2,000 after another month or so. It's a build from scratch except for the case (which is a mid tower I'm wondering if I would need a full tower?) and I really want to pimp my PC out with the best of the best, including the GTX 680 which I will SLI in the future. Don't waste your time suggesting me parts because I'm not actually going to order for another 3 months, I just want to know if what I'm looking for with my budget is possible or I should prepare to spend upwards of $2,000. I live in Canada right beside an NCIX where I plan to buy my parts. Thanks for reading.

You dont need a full tower case .

a single GTX 680 will max any game on a 1080p screen

would a monitor like that suffice? Or what would you recommend. It says 1920 x 1080 however I don't see it say progressive scan anywhere for me to tell if it is 1080p or not. (edit it says it is 1080p)

It is a waste of time planning a build 4 months before buying. Come back week before, when you have enough $ to get what you want.

Well I need to know how much money I should prepare to spend that way I can get another job and get my pc faster if it's upwards of $2,000. I don't want to work more if I don't have to.
