You probably shouldn't buy a coolermaster psu on purpose. However if you already have it, you should be fine running that card; assuming both are in proper working order, and you don't have any overclocks or tons of drives/peripherals.

Unless you already have it, buy another one, only CM Silent Pro series are quality PSUs (and GX to some extent you might say). If you alreasy have it, I guess it would work, can't be sure though.

realpower and extreme power is a trash..

fail to maintain rail stability, huge ripple and noise, fake wattage...well, i don't know why coolermaster still distribute this series..

SilentPro is something real from coolermaster..This is good unit..:)

Did you even read the conclusion?

They even specifically state that they do not recommend this power supply. Furthermore, it is unstable and low quality and confirmed to be a EP460w with minor differences. The EP460w is no other than an EP400w unit which acts more like a low quality 300w unit.

This is a trash PSU and is why cooler master has such a shitty reputation. These powersupplies are low quality, inefficient, not stable, and sell because it's a *brand name* as coolermaster has some decent stuff that is not power supplies.

The only CM power supplies i'd ever recommend would be the Silent Pro's and only if other more reputable units are not available

What about Thermaltake Toughpower 850w ?

If it's the Thermaletake Toughpower XT850W then it's a decent unit but it does have voltage ripple issues at full power but it's still in spec. If you can snag it for cheap then go for it. Anything would literally be better than the CM EP.

Some reviews

Keep in mind that the XT850w came out in 2009 and plenty of newer, more high quality & modern designs have came out since then.
