Can someone help? The desktop I'm using is kinda old, it was given to me for the time being until I can get my laptop repaired (motherboard is dead, we think :( ) Anyways, I would like to be able to play games like I did on my other laptop; games like Minecraft. I tried to run the demo on their site, and it said it couldn't run because the graphics card wasn't good enough or something. Here's all the stuff I know about the specs and everything:

Gateway, system model 5310S
Runs on XP Home Edition
Intel Pentium 4, CPU 2.93 GHz
About 1.2 GB of RAM
DirectX 9.0c

Hope someone can help :)

Well then that seems to be prove that you have no PCI-E connectors, think you should stick to playing flash games until you get your laptop back. In addition, a pentium 4 with 1 gb of ram was not much to start with in terms of modern gaming.

Hello there friend, your gateway comes with several different motherboards. I urge you to download HWmonitor or Speecy to tell you your motherboard model. With the motherboard model I can determine the interface your computer uses for video cards.

Get a printscreen and post it on the forums, I will be able to tell what motherboard you have.
