I am looking at buying a HP or Lenvo customizable prebuilt computer, so what am looking for is a computer that is able to handle to regular everyday family computing needs but also able to handle video editing and Photoshop, so my basic specs are
3rd Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 quad-core processor [3.1GHz, 6MB Shared Cache]
6GB DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM [2 DIMMs] from 4GB
1TB hard drive • No secondary hard drive
Integrated Intel(R) HD Graphics [DVI-D & DVI-D, DX 10.1]
Beats Audio (tm) -- integrated studio quality sound
My question is if I only have money to splurge on thing, which component will make the biggest difference when it comes to video editing, - should I go with getting a better processer, video card or ram?
Also is when it comes to i3 & i5 is the 3rd generation always better then the 2nd generation?
