Fan Controller without Temperature Probes/Sensors

Is it okay to run a fan controller without the temperature sensor things? I recently got a NZXT Sentry II Touchscreen fan controller and noticed that the temperature sensors are glued on, but I assumed they can be taken off. The reason I want them off is that they offer me ZERO benefit because I don't need to know the temps of areas of my computer and they are not even accurate, all of them are displaying temperatures of 20-30 degrees celcius.

You may run into some warranty issues if you ever need to get your unit replaced. I would just recommend hiding them somewhere (if possible) if you don't need them. Bunch them up and hide them in the 5.25" bay perhaps?
