Cpu and motherboard temp monitor?

Hi guys i just built my first pc with i5 3570k stock cooler and no video card at this time. I just want to make sure it is working ok. my motherboard/cpu temps in the bios are a little less then 40c is this bad good? or just fine? thanks for your replies

That is perfectly fine for idle temps.

Just for good measure if you do anything with a heavy load peak at the temps now and then and see how it's holding up.
