Can i use a 6 pin PSU for 8 pin GPU?
Nov 2, 2012, 5:34 AM
I recently acquired the MSI lightning 680gtx and when i went to hook it up i saw that my PSU has two 6 pin connectors currently connected to my 560gtx and the new 680 has 2 8 pin slots. Is there any way to make my PSU work with the new card ?

I wouldn't use an adapter with a gtx 680. You spent that much for the card just spend a little more to get stable power for it. Get this psu it's on sale now and it's good antec ea-650
