I'm looking to pick up a Cooler Master RS850-AMBAJ3-US Silent Pro. It seems to me that between that PSU, and the Corsair Enthusiast series, There are people who say one or the other are about the best. But when I look these PSUs up(among others), I see that some of the reviews are not very good. I know you're not going to please everyone, but I would still like to dodge a lemon. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The CM Silent Pro units are the only CM units i and many other would ever consider. It's a decent unit on par with most other units in its price bracket. It's equal to the OG CWT TX units, slightly inferior to the new Seasonic TX v2 units, and slightly better than competing Antec EA/HCG/NeoEco units.

But still. Price is everything. I would not hesitate to get a Seasonic based unit or any other high quality unit from CWT/Delta/superflower/etc over that Silent Pro if the price is nearly the same.
