Processor / Motherboard for Web Development Tags: CPUs Web Development Motherboards Processors wgo November 2, 2012 7:34:24 AM I'm having my first shot at building my own machine to add to my collection. I need to have a Linux box and a Windows box, both for web development. I'm happy to build them exactly the same spec, however I anticipate that the Windows box will need more resources than the Linux box, so here. My guess is that from all I do, running Adobe photoshop and opening, working with PSD files of a max 40MB will be the most resource hungry. With that in mind I would be grateful for any recommendations. I am on a budget, but happy to consider pushing that budget if the compromise is too high. Thanks in advance.
