5850 Temps

Hi guys,

Recently purchased a used XFX 5850. It's non-ref design, egg cooler version.

I just have a question about my temps and I want to know if they're normal.

In games, when my GPU load is 99%, with a CUSTOM fan profile my temps hit between 60-70c. That's with the fan spinning about 50%. Is this perfectly safe?

Idle, fan at 32%, temp is 34c.

Any input appreciated.

Your temps are fine. My visiontek 5850 with reference cooler idled in the 40's and maxed close to 80 under load. Ran the card for 2 and a half years before replacing it last week with a 7950.
